HELL is NOT what you may THINK!

We are NOT born with the taint of “original sin” (which is the doctrine of Adam’s sin as a mark upon every soul, even before we are born) this is a Catholic doctrine, which gave rise to the doctrine of baptizing infants. WHY do they believe in infant baptism?

Catholics believe the child will be put in a state of Limbo, because of “original sin” on their soul (if not baptized). Now, to some “Limbo” may not seem like a bad place. Yet, according to this doctrine, that person is completely cut off from God. The only Person so far to have been completely “cut off” from The Father is Jesus. As you can see, if this doctrine were true, it would be the most horrible experience. Jesus was cut off from The Father for a few hours, and His torture from this was heart-wrenching. Jesus called out from the cross: “…My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Mark 15:25,33-34. (Originally from Psalm 22:1)

What parent would wish that kind of torture upon their child? That is why Catholics fear the death of the unborn much more than Protestants and Jews.

YET, AS TAUGHT IN THE BIBLE – all the dead are asleep in their graves, until the resurrection. Here is a word PICTURE of those who SLEEP in Jesus, as written in

1 Thess. 4:13-18
13 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are ASLEEP, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which SLEEP in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are ASLEEP.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

Here is ANOTHER word PICTURE of those who were NOT resurrected in the FIRST RESURRECTION, when Jesus came.

Revelation 20:
4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them
[that is, judgment was given to ALL those saved in Christ and raised up at His 2nd Coming-1Cor.6]: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison
[in that Satan will be bound by circumstances when there is no one to tempt, but Christ will resurrect all the WICKED at His 3rd Coming, and Satan will be able to still deceive them];
8 And shall go out to deceive the [newly resurrected] nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog [just another name for the multitudes of lost WICKED people], to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city
[New Jerusalem- in Rev.21, after it came down from Heaven and landed on the Mt of Olives – Zech.14:3-4]: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them [after the judgment was over! as described in vs.11-13 (see below)].
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever [until he is burned up completely, along with the WICKED, leaving “neither root or branch” but only “ashes” are left as described in Malachi 4:1-3].
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were CAST into the lake of fire
[even “death and hell” are destroyed, according to this passage]. This is the second death [“the gift of God is eternal life, the wages of sin is death” – NOT ETERNALLY BURNING FIRE – see Romans 6:23] .
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire [and destroyed for eternity – never to live again – for God IS Love (not “have love, but “IS LOVE”) – 1 John 4:16].”

Both Protestants and Jews believe that the unborn child is in God’s hands. In fact both Protestants and Jews believe that a child is not held accountable until the age of 12 for sure (some maybe a little earlier).

A Jewish Bar Mitzvah (at 12 yrs) is a rite that celebrates a child reaching manhood. Protestants can also be pretty sure that a young adult, at 12, is aware of their sinful condition and in need of a Savior. It is then that they can make a decision to be baptized. Yes there are special cases when some children are aware earlier, but usually they may just have the desire to mimic what they see others do.

Another interesting fact (as I understand it) is that around the 1900’s (earlier or later, I’m not sure) there was another division added in-between child and adult. We call it the “teen” years. For 5,900 years (or thereabouts) there was no such thing as a “teen.” A child went directly to adult at the age of 12. They usually had responsible jobs within the family. They were expected to pull their weight. I would imagine Jesus worked full time as a carpenter in Joseph’s house.

As a result, I bet there was very little actual rebellion among the “teens” of those years – they wouldn’t have had the time for it… They would have been just too busy, and their minds too occupied to think on such things. AND what about all those raging hormones? Well, they sweated out the bad stuff, and all the good stuff went to make muscle for later years.

There is much much more to say about all the erroneous belief’s and/or doctrines that swirl around the egregious teaching of “original sin,” but I’ll need to stop here.

A few weeks from now, I’ll share how the doctrine of “original sin” is connected to the controversies surrounding abortion. Don’t worry – I’m not promoting abortion, but there are some things that need to be brought to light. God bless you guys.

I’ve got something real interesting (hopefully) that I’m going to post next Sunday evening. It has to do with the significance of the 12 tribes, as they relate to the forming of the 144,000, pointed out by Revelation 7 and why 2 of the tribes have been banned completely by God! See y’all then ❤
