Which Lion Roars

Which Lion Roars? Β πŸ…°οΈ

The Lamb showed up on Earth for slaughter.
In that The blackness of “dead” is our condition,
Until we find “The Lamb,” allowing His grace to work on us,
Showing us “The Way, The Truth and The Life” for us in Him.
John 14:6

Jesus came to our world to reveal how we are to operate in this world.

Jesus refused to “work” under His Own Power – which He could have done. He only operated in our flesh (putting aside His Godly powers) and in complete submission, as a slave under His Master’s control,* allowed His Father to work through Him and in Him saying, “I can of mine own self do nothing: …because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” (John 5:30,19). *[1]

Not that he was unable of His Own self to “do nothing” —
But that, if man was to be saved, He (Jesus) could “do nothing,” but through the Father, in order to prove that we could do the same (that is, work through the Father in Jesus’ Name).

In reality we have no option,
We either operate under our own “dead” flesh (which was given probationary life) or choose to operate on this Earth through the means provided by God’s Son – which is, under the guidance of the Heavenly Father and “eternal life.”

Jesus had an option because He IS God in our flesh.
If He chose, He could have done all the works here on Earth, using His Own Power — Oh wait! — That’s exactly what He did when He visited Israel of Old, dwelling with them in the wilderness Sanctuary! [2]

God’s Son, our Judah Lion,* Roars down to our Earthimg_0755
So we first get a glimpse of Who God’s Son was as the Original Pattern for the molding of Adam (a Self Portrait, if you will). Then later, the “Lamb slain from the foundation of the World” is depicted as Adam under “deep sleep” in Genesis 2:18-22, for major surgery, to reveal the inner workings of Who The Father is. In the case of Adam, his inner self revealed the beauty of the heart, and the epitomΓ© of what it means to say, “God IS Love”! In Jesus, the Beauty of the Father is revealed in His Church — that is, His Redeemed *[3]

If Jesus would have decided to do the works in His Own Power, then we would NOT have an “Example” (because we cannot operate on our own, except in dead flesh). Then most certainly, we could not have a “Saviour,” because only that which is flesh could be nailed to the cross – only flesh can die – not the God living in our flesh — but flesh only.

Jesus did not come to our Earth to PROVE that GOD can overcome ALL temptation — that is a “no brainer” — as the kids would say (or used to say, anyway). Everyone knows GOD is Holy and does not have the drawing of the flesh. Yet Jesus laid aside that part of His nature and operated ONLY in the flesh.

Would you be surprised if I told you:
Jesus’ TEMPTATION (or biggest Temptation) was to use His Godly powers, in that He wept over suffering humanity and suffering innocent creatures. He saw the cruelty all around Him. Yet, To stop ALL suffering would have distracted Him away from His (& His Father’s) main goal of saving man — so He chose to do ONLY those things, which His Father directed Him to do. (John 14:1-12).

Jesus had to harden His flesh not to react spontaneously, through His Own God Powers. If Jesus had not done so, He could never have gone to the cross as an innocent helpless “Lamb.” He would have gone to the cross as a “Lion.” And no “Lion” was EVER a sacrifice on the altar of God. No “lion” was ever offered in the Earthly Sanctuary – because a lion is not helpless — nor innocent, but aware and ready to act/pounce. A lion can save himself – a lamb can not. He must rely on His Master to save him. This is a picture of Jesus. A lamb is meek to all he comes in contact with. This is a picture of Jesus. He only allowed Himself to be a Lamb and a Sacrifice.

Which Lion Guards His Pride?
Since Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, He has put His “Lion” Royal Robes over His “Lamb” flesh, as seen in Revelation 5:5-7. He now operates as both our “Lamb” sacrifice, and our “Lion” Protector, Defender, and All Powerful God.

Jesus is our EXAMPLE – we are to be a “lamb,” as well. AND, He is our Saviour – we can never be our own saviour, because only Jesus has the Lion Power to bring life from death, even as He raised Himself up from the dead – He can raise us up too!

Jesus is coming down to our Planet, to meet His Rival Lion, Lucifer, Head On To snatch the Prey, The 144,000 out of the jaws of Satan, to ever be with The True Royal Lion, Who was a Lamb, but Now the KING OF KINGS, With His Flowing White Mane, fiery Red Eyes, and a Glorious Body, As Burnished Brass heated by the fiery Trials of this 6,000 year Ordeal, placed upon His Lion-Like Body of Strength!
(Depiction in Rev.1:14-15, as well 17:14; 19:16)

“Lo – This is Our God, we have waited for Him, and He will save us….”. [4]
πŸ…°οΈΒ I Peter 5:8 — “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
YET, We are to: “…behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, [Who] hath prevailed…” (Revelation 5:5)

[1] Philippians 2:5-8
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

[2] Acts 7:29-38
“And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him [Moses] in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord [God’s Son, Michael] in a flame of fire in a bush….
This is He [Pre-incarnate, Jesus, in the form of an Angel], that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us.”

[3] Genesis 49:8-9
“Judah, thou art He [God’s Son] whom Thy brethren shall praise: Thy hand shall be in the neck of Thine enemies; Thy father’s children shall bow down before Thee. Judah is a lion’s whelp [cub]: from the prey, My son, Thou art gone up: He stooped down, He couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse Him up? [as He comes for His pride]”

[4] (Isaiah 25:7-9)
“And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
